The generation of waste in our country is extreme and is a direct result of our standard of living and the businesses that support this standard. Rather than just continue to live with new landfills and the attendant damage done by some waste we looked for ways to make long term impacts in this area. MBE and Holesinger Farms have concentrated on two(2) areas where our business could make a difference in the level of waste generated in our region. Wood recycling through our wood site in Davis Junction, Illinois helps to remove this burden from our local lanfills. Composting hog manure helps to reduce the smell and possible fertilizer runoff from these operations. |
